Out in the woods, walking the streets as the daylight faded to dusk...

Allee did her best to pick up on the trail of that elusive spirit of xmas ---santa! She was especially interested to meet his so-called rheindeers that fly.

This is how I spend my days when I'm not eating, taking a walk, sleeping on Lily's bed, chewing on all my new toys, eating, laying in the room with Lily & her computer, eating, looking out the front window, or having a snack....

fool moon?

Allie here. Lily and I couldn't sleep the other night...tossing and turning, tossing and turning, pulling at the covers, wiggling our legs. At 5am we woke up at exactly the same time. Lily hopped out of bed first, and I followed her. She opened the front door and walked out on the porch, and I followed her. It was dark but bright at the same time. Eeerrie. Then I saw what was causing this undark atmosphere; that huge shining disk in the sky that sometimes makes everything look like a shadow but not a shadow. Lily kept saying to me: look Allie fool moon fool moon. Then she made this noise like that sick coyote I heard howling one time back home in Corvallis. Owwwwww, yowwww, fool moon fool moon Allie, look, look. I guess she couldn't tell I WAS LOOKING.
After awhile we looked at each other for a long moment. We went back inside, got in bed and fell back asleep until 10am. Lily sleeps dog hours, did you know that?

Basements!!!

Allie wasn't sure where she was? At first it seemed best if she ducked her head a little bit. That seemed to help.

Allie reports: But I noticed Lily wasn't ducking her head so I lifted mine. Noooo, problem. I found out that this place is called a "Basement." Have you ever heard of such a place? Hmmm. I followed Lily thru another door and whatda'know! a washer and dryer. Just like at home. I wonder if that little room off the kitchen at home is our "Basement?"

Another day, another adventure. This vacation has it all!!!!

There is much to see here

How I am spending my days

I'm doing the things I love to do the best. There's eating, and sleeping and of course, napping. There is looking out the front windows, looking out the back windows, standing on the porch, Both a back porch and front porch! Yeeooowww! How's that for good vacation digs. They have squirrels here: I counted 5, okay okay, I can't count but Lily counted them for me. I was very excited. And just Today I realized I can lay on the lilybed and see out the window into the backyard. My tail thumping on the bed makes the coolest thumpa, thumpa sound ever. More tomorrow, going to take another nap before dinner. Love Allie oxbarkox

The first days

Allie finds her new digs very interesting. She promises to tell all as the vacation days go by, but first she wants to send some photos of herself that she got done on her first day of vacation. It took awhile to have then done-up just like the keepsakes she wanted them to be.
